Joel Nderitu

Joel is a seasoned professional with over 17 years of experience in Information Technology, specializing in the dynamic retail industry for 15 years. Currently serving as the Head of IT, he demonstrates exemplary leadership in spearheading technological advancements and strategic initiatives within organizations. He excels in ICT project management, strategy development, policy implementation, database management, and business intelligence.
Prior to his current role, Joel served as the Head of Information Solutions at Deacons (EA) PLC, overseeing IT operations for a diverse portfolio of renowned retail brands such as Woolworths, Mr Price and Baby shop. His tenure at Deacons exemplified his ability to navigate complex environments and deliver results amidst evolving market dynamics.
Joel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and recently completed a Master of Business Administration Degree with a focus on Management Information Systems from the University of Nairobi. He also holds certifications in IT service management (ITIL 4 Foundation) and project management (Prince2 6th edition Foundation and Practitioner).
